Worked on enhancing authentication and client initialization for the mosaicml/streaming repository, focusing on Azure-backed pipelines. Developed a feature that enables identity-based authentication using DefaultAzureCredential when account access keys are unavailable, improving security and simplifying credential management. Refactored the client creation process to dynamically extract the account name from the remote URL, allowing for more flexible deployment across different environments. Updated Databricks SDK imports to reference the correct error base path, reducing runtime errors and easing maintenance. The work leveraged Python, Azure, and SDK integration skills, addressing authentication and compatibility challenges in cloud storage and data processing workflows.
