During April 2026, Sovairon developed an experimental incrementalUpdates feature for gRPC sync sources in the open-feature/flagd repository. This work introduced a per-source update mode that scoped flag changes by flagSetId, addressing the challenge of cross-project flag clobbering in multi-tenant environments. Sovairon enhanced the store update semantics and improved debugging by supporting compound selectors for multi-key updates, which streamlined troubleshooting. The implementation, written in Go and leveraging gRPC for backend communication, included comprehensive documentation and migration guidance. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature laid a foundation for safer, more flexible flag synchronization across multiple projects.
