During October 2025, contributed to the louislam/uptime-kuma repository by implementing MQTT topic wildcard support, enabling subscriptions using # and + for broader and more flexible monitoring coverage. This backend enhancement, developed with Node.js and JavaScript, allowed users to configure alerting with less manual effort while maintaining compatibility with existing dashboards and alerting rules. The work included updating and expanding automated tests to validate the new wildcard functionality, which improved test coverage and regression safety. No critical bugs were reported during this period, as the focus remained on delivering robust feature development and ensuring the stability and maintainability of the codebase.
