Worked on the primefaces/primefaces repository to enhance UI reliability by addressing a device menu issue that previously displayed unavailable devices, which could confuse users. Applied a targeted fix using Java and JavaScript, updating deviceSelection.xhtml in both core and showcase modules to ensure the menu dynamically lists only available devices. This data-driven approach improved the accuracy of device selection, directly supporting consistent end-user workflows. The solution involved UI/UX design principles and cross-module collaboration, resulting in a lean, maintainable patch. The change reduced user confusion and support inquiries, demonstrating attention to both technical detail and the overall user experience.
