Worked on Linux kernel sensor drivers in the analogdevicesinc/linux repository, focusing on the Versal SYSMon platform. Developed milli-scale reporting for temperature and voltage channels, enabling readings in milliCelsius and millivolts to standardize sensor data and avoid floating-point operations in the sysfs interface. Enhanced the versal-sysmon-i2c driver to handle I2C read failures by returning maximum temperature values, supporting active cooling decisions and improving system reliability. Utilized C for kernel and device driver development, applying expertise in embedded systems and I2C communication. The work improved interface consistency, reliability, and automation testing across Versal SYSMon sensor components within the kernel environment.
Month: 2024-10. Focus: Linux kernel sensor drivers for Versal SYSMon. Delivered milli-scale sensor reporting and robust I2C read failure handling, improving reliability, standardization, and business value.
