Developed two core features for the SmartBear/smartbear-mcp repository, focusing on tools that enhance API testing workflows. Built the Get Test Execution History Tool to provide detailed historical test data, including pass/fail status and failure details, streamlining test analysis. Created the Test Tool for Swagger Functional Testing, enabling programmatic API test creation with strict typing and robust input validation. Leveraged TypeScript for strong type safety, integrated RESTful API clients, and utilized Zod schemas to enforce input correctness. Comprehensive unit tests were implemented throughout to ensure reliability and maintainability, reducing manual effort and improving visibility into test execution and results.
