Over a three-month period, contributed to the galacticcouncil/hydration-node repository by building and enhancing blockchain infrastructure with a focus on signature workflows and cross-chain token management. Developed the Signet pallet for signature management, implemented cross-pallet execution, and introduced a dedicated testing client to improve reliability. Enhanced memory safety using bounded vectors in Rust, and delivered an ERC20 Vault supporting cross-chain deposits via MPC, complete with robust funding checks and comprehensive tests. Improved onboarding through updated documentation and streamlined environment setup. Additionally, advanced the Signet MPC API with CAIP-2 chain ID formatting and improved serialization, strengthening backend integration and request handling.
December 2025: Delivered Signet MPC API Enhancements in galacticcouncil/hydration-node, enabling CAIP-2 chain ID formatting, improved request handling, and updated serialization schemas. Result: more reliable cross-chain MPC operations and cleaner integration with downstream services.

October 2025 (2025-10) monthly summary for galacticcouncil/hydration-node: Delivered two major features, fixed critical reliability issues, and updated docs. Key features include memory-safety improvements for the Signet pallet using bounded vectors to enforce maximum lengths and prevent overflows; an ERC20 Vault for cross-chain deposits via MPC with initialization, deposit requests, and claim flow, accompanied by comprehensive tests; and documentation updates to improve onboarding with correct repository links and environment setup instructions (.env guidance). Major reliability improvements included ensuring the pallet account has sufficient funds before deposits/claims and strengthening tests to reduce flaky behavior. Impact: safer memory handling, robust cross-chain token flows, and smoother developer onboarding. Technologies/skills demonstrated: Rust, Substrate pallet development, bounded vectors for memory safety, MPC-based cross-chain vaults, thorough testing, and documentation discipline.
