Developed and delivered a 256-color scheme for the NeoMutt repository, applying color theory and UI design principles to enhance visual readability and consistency across headers, index, sidebar, quoted text, and compose view. The approach centered on integrating the nightfox.nvim palette, ensuring cohesive theming throughout the terminal interface. This work improved onboarding for new contributors by providing clear documentation and a well-structured commit history, including collaborative annotations. The implementation focused on terminal UI theming and 256-color support, aligning with design-system standards to enable quicker UI refinements and easier maintenance for future development within the NeoMutt project.
