Worked on enhancing the mash-playbook repository by delivering a feature focused on improving script portability and automation reliability. Addressed cross-environment compatibility by adding a shebang line and executable metadata to Python scripts, enabling direct execution without additional wrappers. Standardized UTF-8 encoding across all scripts to ensure consistent handling of non-ASCII characters on Linux, macOS, and Windows systems. Utilized DevOps and scripting skills to streamline automation workflows and reduce manual intervention. The work was captured in a single auditable commit, reflecting a targeted approach to operational robustness and maintainability, with no critical bugs reported during the development period.
