During October 2024, Etan worked on the MeasureAuthoringTool/madie-editor repository, focusing on refining the user interface for the CQL Editor and Measures tab. Using CSS and SCSS, Etan implemented layout enhancements that reduced unnecessary whitespace and improved panel height calculations, resulting in a cleaner and more predictable editing surface. The changes addressed usability and stability concerns by ensuring reliable scrollbar behavior and minimizing layout glitches. Etan’s work targeted the core front end, supporting faster and more efficient authoring sessions. The scope of work was focused, delivering a single feature that improved the overall user experience without addressing bug fixes.
