During June 2026, contributed to the rust-lang/this-week-in-rust repository by developing and integrating the ZamSync Offline-first WAL Sync Engine. This feature was engineered in Rust to address data synchronization challenges in environments with intermittent or low-bandwidth connectivity, such as rural health clinics operating on 2G networks. The approach focused on offline-first architecture, enabling reliable data capture and sync even when network access is sporadic. Work included wiring ZamSync into existing project tooling as part of the TWiR 656 update, emphasizing robust systems programming and networking skills.
