Worked on the OverMoney repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of the transaction processing module. Focused on backend development using Java and Spring Data JPA, addressing a key issue where transactions without a provided date could result in null values. Implemented logic to default missing transaction dates to the current date, ensuring accurate timestamping and preventing data inconsistencies in analytics and reporting. Additionally, refactored a complex SQL query within the TransactionRepository, restructuring it into a multi-line format for improved readability and easier future maintenance. Emphasized robust data handling and code clarity to support ongoing backend enhancements.
