Worked on enhancing Typst syntax highlighting in the helix-editor/helix repository by reorganizing query definitions for function calls, method calls, tags, and comments. Focused on improving the accuracy and consistency of language parsing within the editor, the work involved refactoring the query system to address user-visible highlighting errors. Implemented a targeted fix for Typst function highlighting, which reduced errors and improved the overall user experience. Utilized skills in syntax highlighting, text editor configuration, and the scm language to deliver these improvements. The contributions demonstrated a methodical approach to code quality and open-source collaboration within the Helix project.
