During February 2026, Evol Gas focused on enhancing the stability and maintainability of graph traversal logic in the astronomer/astronomer-cosmos repository. Working primarily with Python and back end development, Evol addressed a bug where missing external node references could cause instability in GraphSelector and NodeSelector. By updating the traversal logic to skip unavailable references and adding clarifying comments, Evol improved both code clarity and long-term maintainability.
