Worked on the NCATComp410/comp410_fall_2024 repository to enhance the IT Passport validation test suite, focusing on improving test coverage and maintainability. Leveraged Python and regular expressions to implement comprehensive unit tests that validate both correct and incorrect IT Passport formats. Applied test-driven development practices to refactor and update test cases, simplifying maintenance and reducing reliance on explicit context dependencies. These enhancements increased the robustness and reliability of authentication-related workflows, supporting faster continuous integration feedback and reducing regression risk. The work did not involve bug fixes but delivered two new features that strengthened validation reliability and improved overall CI readiness.
