Worked on the ScottLogic/blog repository to enhance author attribution within the blogging platform. Focused on improving content governance by configuring the platform to accurately represent authorship, including adding a new author to the system, updating the authors list, and assigning contributor status to a specific post. Developed a dedicated author page featuring relevant details and a placeholder image to support discoverability and future onboarding. Utilized HTML, Markdown, and YAML to implement these changes, ensuring a streamlined process for managing author information. The work addressed manual overhead in author management and laid the groundwork for more efficient content administration going forward.
