Worked on the FreeRADIUS/freeradius-server repository to enhance the developer experience by delivering detailed documentation for the trigger_exec function in trigger.c. Focused on clarifying the function’s purpose, asynchronous execution model, and naming conventions, as well as distinguishing between triggers and logs to highlight the immediacy of trigger notifications. The documentation, written in C and emphasizing best practices in technical writing, was directly linked to a specific commit for traceability. This work aimed to streamline onboarding for new contributors and reduce confusion around trigger usage, ultimately supporting maintainability and clear communication within the codebase. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
