During July 2025, Exyxz enhanced the catppuccin/userstyles repository by delivering a feature that aligns ArchWiki theming with user system color schemes. They updated CSS selectors and leveraged Less to detect and respect both site-configured and system-level light or dark mode preferences, ensuring the Catppuccin theme displays consistently across ArchWiki pages. This work addressed visual inconsistencies and reinforced adherence to the design system, improving the user experience for those switching between color modes. Exyxz’s approach demonstrated a solid understanding of front end development principles, focusing on maintainable CSS architecture and clear commit messaging to support future reviews and rollbacks.
