Worked on the google/go-tpm-tools repository to extend the SecureBootState protobuf, introducing new fields for Platform Key (pk) and Key Exchange Keys (kek). This feature enhanced secure boot data representation by updating event log parsing logic to extract and populate these fields using well-known certificates. The implementation leveraged Protocol Buffers for structured data modeling and Go for system-level programming, with a focus on security and accurate certificate handling. The work addressed the need for richer secure boot state information, enabling more comprehensive processing and analysis of secure boot events within the system. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
