Worked on stabilizing email workflows for the koesterlab/remail repository by addressing a critical bug that impacted onboarding and user communication. The approach involved reverting a recent frontend merge to restore build stability and remove problematic configuration files, while also enhancing backend error handling for the email API using Python. Additionally, email input on the registration page was normalized and validated, improving data quality and reducing user-facing errors. Leveraging skills in backend development, database management, and email integration, the work focused on hardening the system’s reliability and ensuring consistent email delivery, contributing to a more robust and maintainable onboarding process.
