Worked on enhancing configuration management for the POSYDON-code/POSYDON repository by expanding the scalar parameters available in the population_params_default.ini file. This update enabled users to customize a broader range of simulation settings directly through INI configuration files, supporting more flexible experimentation and improved reproducibility. The approach involved extending the scalar_names lists to cover additional simulation options, aligning the configuration structure with the requirements of the v2.1.5 release. Focused on INI file management and configuration best practices, the work was closely integrated with the project’s release process and issue tracking to ensure traceability and maintainability of configuration changes.
