Worked on the Pometry/Raphtory repository to enhance API cleanliness and observability, focusing on both extensibility and developer experience. Improved the GraphQL module by removing unused dependencies and exposing the GqlGraphType enum, which increased API flexibility and reduced build risk. Addressed observability by cleaning up the OpenTelemetry integration, specifically removing a noisy debugging statement to produce cleaner traces and lower log noise during request processing. These changes, implemented in Rust with a focus on dependency management and observability, improved client integration, reduced maintenance overhead, and established a foundation for scalable instrumentation and analytics in future development cycles.
