Fabio Baltieri worked on improving deep sleep functionality for the si91x MCU within the zephyrproject-rtos/hal_silabs repository. He addressed a critical bug by aligning deep sleep register access with CMSIS-6 standards, updating register mappings to ensure correct saving and restoring of interrupt and system handler priorities during low-power states. This work enhanced power management reliability and ensured compatibility with the latest CMSIS-6 definitions. Fabio utilized his expertise in driver development, embedded systems, and RTOS, working primarily in C to deliver maintainable code that improved both the consistency and long-term supportability of the hardware abstraction layer for SiLabs devices.
