During February 2025, Fábio Guedes worked on enhancing the tphakala/birdnet-go repository by implementing comprehensive localization for Brazilian Portuguese users. He created and integrated a dedicated PT-BR labels resource, focusing on data management and localization to improve usability and accessibility for Portuguese-speaking audiences. This work involved careful organization of text assets and attention to internationalization standards, ensuring the application could better serve Brazilian markets.
