Worked on apache/incubator-devlake to enhance the local development environment and improve plugin migration reliability. Focused on backend development using Go and Docker, introducing a new Dockerfile and updating docker-compose configurations to streamline onboarding for local contributors. Addressed database migration challenges by enhancing migration scripts in YAML and Go, enabling the addition of new fields across multiple plugins and reducing schema drift. Strengthened the plugin architecture to support better scalability and maintainability, while co-authoring fixes that ensured consistent database structure across plugins. The work emphasized maintainable engineering practices and targeted improvements to both developer experience and long-term project stability.
