Fabio Vera Crespo focused on improving AI agent reliability in the microsoft/debug-gym repository by addressing prompt clarity issues for DebugAgent and RewriteAgent. Using Python and applying prompt engineering techniques, Fabio replaced ambiguous instructions in the system prompts, changing “repeat your previous action” to “repeat the thinking process.” This targeted bug fix reduced confusion during agent execution and enhanced the consistency of agent behavior. Although no new features were released during the period, Fabio’s work contributed to better usability and supportability of the AI agents.
