Worked on the nuxt/image repository to deliver a Fastly Image Provider enhancement that enables absolute URL support and merges existing query parameters during image URL generation. Applied TypeScript and full stack development skills to update the URL construction logic, ensuring more reliable image delivery and improved caching alignment. Adopted a test-driven development approach by expanding unit and integration tests to cover edge cases and production scenarios, which strengthened overall test coverage. Addressed a Fastly-related bug to ensure robust URL handling, resulting in reduced edge-case failures in production and more consistent behavior across different image providers within the Nuxt Image ecosystem.
