Fanjie contributed to the Tencent/libpag repository by modernizing its build toolchain and managing dependencies to ensure long-term maintainability. Over two months, Fanjie upgraded the Gradle wrapper and Android Gradle Plugin, aligning the project with the latest Android Studio tooling and reducing onboarding friction for new developers. The work included updating batch and shell wrapper scripts to support new build requirements, improving build reliability and future-proofing the repository. Additionally, Fanjie managed vendor_tools dependencies through disciplined DEPS updates, ensuring compatibility and traceability. The engineering work demonstrated a strong grasp of Android development, build tools, and cross-repository version control practices.
