Farida delivered Spanish language localization for the chimple/cuba repository, expanding the app’s accessibility to Spanish-speaking users. She implemented this by adding and updating XML-based translation resources through Weblate, enabling a full Spanish user interface without modifying the underlying business logic. Her approach established a repeatable internationalization workflow, making future translations more scalable and maintainable. By focusing on localization and internationalization, Farida ensured that the app’s core functionality remained stable while broadening its reach. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, her work laid a solid foundation for ongoing language support and streamlined the translation process using Git-based updates.
