March 2026: Desktop Virtualization API stabilization for mikeharder/azure-rest-api-specs. Delivered the Desktop Virtualization API Stabilization and Endpoints as a stable 2025-10-10 release with new endpoints and resource models, updated versioning, and targeted quality improvements to the API specs. Implemented lint-diff tooling and other quality fixes to enable reliable downstream SDK generation and client integrations, and coordinated cross-team review for a clean baseline.

Oct 2025 Monthly work summary focusing on the mcgallan/azure-rest-api-specs repo and Desktop Virtualization REST API specs. Key feature delivered: Session Host Provisioning Configuration Enhancements for the 2025-04-01-preview, adding new provisioning properties to SessionHostProvisioningConfigurationPatchProperties and updating SessionHostManagementPatchProperties to include these configurations. This enables granular control over session host provisioning (drain mode, instance counts, canary policies) and addresses previously missed provisioning properties, reducing misconfigurations and improving deployment reliability. Major bug fix included: Ensure all provisioning properties are present in the 2025-04-01-preview SHM patch. Main commit associated with these changes: 53faa503c0f6155842e2487a087b7935b95914cc. Technologies demonstrated include REST API specs work, YAML/JSON patch schemas, versioned API previews, and cross-team collaboration for compatibility with the 2025-04-01-preview.
