During January 2025, Fauna worked on the microsoft/Agents-for-net repository, focusing on enhancing authentication for the Weather bot sample. She replaced traditional API key-based authentication with a credential-free approach using Azure CLI and Managed Identity, leveraging her skills in C# and Azure OpenAI integration. This update removed sensitive API keys from code paths, improving security and streamlining the onboarding process for enterprise users. Fauna also updated the project’s README to provide clear guidance on the new setup and aligned the implementation with the Semantic Kernel Weather bot sample. Her work demonstrated depth in authentication and sample development within enterprise environments.
