During November 2024, François Charlaix developed an automated pull request assignment and merge workflow for the Easya-Solutions/dolibarr repository. He designed and implemented a GitHub Actions pipeline using YAML to streamline the review and merging process for the 18.0 branch. The workflow automatically assigns pull requests to designated reviewers and attempts to merge them once reviews are accepted, reducing manual intervention and potential bottlenecks. By leveraging CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions, François improved the efficiency of the team’s code integration process. The work focused on automation rather than bug fixes, demonstrating depth in workflow orchestration and process optimization.
