Developed an automated pull request assignment and merge workflow for the Easya-Solutions/dolibarr repository, focusing on the 18.0 branch. Leveraging GitHub Actions and YAML, the solution assigns incoming pull requests to designated reviewers and attempts merges automatically once reviews are accepted. This approach streamlined the review-to-merge process, reducing manual intervention and potential bottlenecks in the team’s CI/CD pipeline. The workflow was designed to ensure that only approved changes are merged, enhancing both efficiency and code quality. Over the course of the month, the work centered on automation and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on maintainable, declarative configuration practices.
