Worked on the idaholab/moose repository to deliver a data structure enhancement for the FilePipe1Phase module, enabling dynamic reassignment of element counts in axial sections. This feature increased the flexibility of simulation configurations and reduced the need for manual adjustments in workflow setups. The approach involved targeted C++ refactoring to extend existing data structures while maintaining backward compatibility, ensuring seamless integration with current systems. Demonstrated skills in C++ development, data structure management, and software engineering, with disciplined use of Git for change management and clear documentation. No major bugs were addressed during this period, focusing efforts on feature delivery and configurability.
