During July 2025, Feiniao enhanced the aevatarAI/aevatar-station repository by implementing a new user authentication feature in C#. Focusing on backend development and OAuth, Feiniao introduced an is_new_user flag as a claim on the user principal during authentication flows for Apple, Google, and Signature grants. This addition allows downstream systems to reliably distinguish between new and existing users, enabling more tailored onboarding and analytics. The work was delivered as a single, well-scoped feature, laying a foundation for improved user segmentation and journey customization. Feiniao’s contribution addressed a clear business need with a focused, maintainable backend solution.
