During November 2024, Fenik17 focused on repository hygiene and maintenance for the SquareGPS/navixy-api project. They addressed technical debt by removing the deprecated docs/data-warehouse-api directory and stray .DS_Store files, streamlining the documentation structure and reducing confusion for contributors. Using Git for version control and leveraging shell scripting for file management, Fenik17 improved the maintainability of the codebase without introducing new features. This work established a cleaner baseline for future development and documentation efforts, prioritizing risk reduction and onboarding efficiency. The depth of the work lay in careful curation and organization, ensuring a more sustainable and accessible repository moving forward.
