Worked on the mapasculturais/mapasculturais repository to enhance release engineering processes by focusing on versioning governance and metadata accuracy. Over two months, updated version.txt and related release-tracking metadata to ensure precise version identification and build traceability, reducing the risk of mislabeling and improving auditability. Leveraged Git for commit management and shell scripting for automating version updates, emphasizing reproducibility across environments. Addressed one bug related to release metadata and implemented a feature to update release timestamps, ensuring consistency in release artifacts. The work demonstrated attention to detail in release management and contributed to more reliable and transparent software delivery practices.
