Worked on enhancing automated functional verification testing (FVT) for staging environments in the openshift/release repository, focusing on two key setups: shared-vpc-staging-main and pl-staging-main. Leveraged YAML and Kubernetes to refine CI/CD job configurations, streamline test environment setups, and automate periodic test runs using podman for test execution. Integrated Jira-based reporting to accelerate feedback cycles and improve test coverage, while reducing manual testing overhead. The approach emphasized automation and DevOps best practices, resulting in more reliable and maintainable staging environments. This work contributed to improved CI/CD staging readiness and more efficient validation processes for ongoing development and deployment workflows.
