Worked on the RedHatInsights/clowder repository to deliver security-focused improvements in container hardening and CI/CD processes. Addressed multiple RPM CVEs by updating the UBI base image from version 9.7 to 9.8, mitigating vulnerabilities in core libraries such as gnutls, glibc, and openssl. Enhanced the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Tekton, introducing automated linting, security scanning, and End-to-End testing workflows. These changes strengthened the secure development lifecycle, improved release reliability, and provided a clearer audit trail for security fixes. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to reducing security risk and accelerating secure software delivery.
