Worked on the FgForrest/evitaDB repository to deliver two features focused on deployment flexibility and performance tuning. Developed Entrypoint Custom Script Processing, enabling the Docker container to execute or source optional shell scripts during startup, which allows for customizable initialization routines. Introduced Memory Allocation Optimizations by installing libmimalloc2.0 and libtcmalloc-minimal4 in the Docker image, supporting experimental allocator selection for improved build and runtime performance. Utilized Dockerfile and Shell scripting to implement these enhancements, drawing on DevOps and system administration skills. The work established a foundation for further configurability and performance experimentation in containerized environments without addressing bug fixes.
