Worked on the traefik/traefik repository to deliver a feature enhancing the robustness and validation of the File Provider subsystem. Focused on backend development using Go, the work introduced early validation of file inputs to handle unsupported file extensions and provided clearer error messaging for file watchers. A new function was implemented to check for supported file types, and additional tests were added to cover edge cases such as dangling symlinks, improving the reliability of configuration loading. These changes expanded test coverage and diagnostics, reducing the risk of regressions and ensuring more dependable configuration management within the Go-based backend system.
