Worked on the konstructio/kubefirst repository to improve CI/CD workflow hygiene by removing an obsolete GitHub Actions workflow file, devrel-automations.yaml. This update focused on simplifying repository configuration and reducing unnecessary automation noise, making the codebase more approachable for new contributors and DevRel teams. The technical approach involved careful analysis of existing pipelines to ensure that the removal did not impact active workflows or deployments. Using YAML and leveraging expertise in CI/CD and GitHub Actions, the work resulted in a cleaner repository state, reduced maintenance overhead, and a more streamlined onboarding process, though no bugs were fixed during this period.
