December 2025: Delivered a comprehensive Competition Rules Clarification and Documentation Update for cowprotocol/docs. The update clarifies scoring and valid-solution criteria, defines fair, second-price winner selection for batched bids, and formalizes settlement with pre/post hooks and partial fills. It adds detailed guidance on buffer usage and hooks, tightens penalties and wording, standardizes terminology, and aligns definitions with recent fee changes. A documentation-only rewards metadata field was added to support governance work and future CIP cleanups. This work reduces governance ambiguity, accelerates onboarding, and improves maintainability of the rules.

Month: 2025-11 — Focused on clarifying and hardening the docs for Solver Engine and EBBO in cowprotocol/docs. Delivered targeted documentation enhancements to remove legacy references, clarify baseline mode functionality, streamline EBBO violations, reorder value-loss-first reimbursement steps, and simplify the escalation path to CIP-based slashing. These changes improve developer onboarding, reduce support cycles, and minimize misconfiguration risk. Collaboration with Haris Angelidakis to ensure consistency with CIP processes and release notes.
