Worked on the rubyforgood/skillrx repository to implement provider file_name_prefix management and validation, focusing on maintaining file management integrity and alignment with Azure storage. Developed both UI and model-level safeguards using Ruby on Rails and RSpec, ensuring that the file_name_prefix could only be edited when no topics were associated with a provider. Enhanced the user interface with clear notices and disabled styling to communicate editing restrictions, and updated the grid layout to accommodate long prefixes. This approach reduced the risk of broken file references and improved data consistency, leveraging skills in back end and front end development with Ruby and CSS.
