Worked on schema management for the Telecominfraproject/wlan-ap repository, focusing on improving the accuracy of network bandwidth metrics in the ucentral-schema’s qos.json file. Addressed a bug by correcting the field names from bandwidth_up and bandwidth_down to bandwidth-up and bandwidth-down, ensuring that data representation aligns with actual network data flows. Utilized JSON for schema definition and validation, maintaining data integrity across monitoring dashboards and analytics pipelines. Delivered the change as a single, well-documented commit to minimize risk and support traceability. This work enabled more reliable monitoring and SLA reporting by enhancing the precision of network QoS metric tracking.
