Worked on the urfit-tech/lodestar-app repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of media asset delivery. Focused on asset management and CDN management, the developer implemented a self-hosting approach for Azure Media Player assets, including fonts, icons, and minified CSS, by moving them into the project’s public directory. This eliminated reliance on external CDNs, reducing potential outages and improving uptime, especially in constrained network environments. Updated CSS and HTML code to reference local assets, enabling offline-friendly builds and faster load times. The work streamlined future asset updates and contributed to a more resilient frontend development workflow for the application.
