During their two-month contribution to the zed-industries/zed repository, Tdkgn focused on stabilizing core editor workflows by addressing critical bugs in both the terminal and autosave features. Using Rust for both backend and front end development, Tdkgn delivered targeted fixes that improved terminal mouse selection accuracy when the inline assistant was active and ensured autosave triggered only when focus truly left an item, preventing formatting glitches and cursor jumps. Each change was implemented with minimal surface area, validated through end-to-end checks, and documented for traceability, reflecting a careful, depth-oriented approach to enhancing reliability in daily developer workflows.
