Worked on refining French UI localization for the Stirling-Tools/test-dont-use repository, focusing on enhancing translation accuracy and naturalness across Stirling PDF’s user interface. Applied internationalization and localization best practices to update properties files, standardizing terminology and phrasing for consistency throughout the application. The approach emphasized traceability by linking all translation updates to a specific commit, ensuring auditability and maintainability. No major bugs were reported during this period, indicating stable integration of the new translations. This work improved the user experience for French-speaking users and established a solid foundation for future localization efforts within the project’s internationalization framework.
