Worked on enhancing the PocketBook boot logo experience in the koreader/koreader repository, focusing on device-specific UI adaptation to improve startup visuals and reliability. Leveraged Lua scripting and embedded systems expertise to ensure the boot logo updates dynamically when the cover image changes, using PocketBook-compatible screen dimensions for accurate display. Integrated device APIs to retrieve screen width and height, and implemented background processing for logo refresh to prevent UI blocking. The solution addressed first-launch user experience by aligning visual elements with hardware capabilities, demonstrating a methodical approach to device integration and robust handling of asynchronous tasks within the embedded environment.
