January 2026 (2026-01) highlights significant cross-cloud delivery across AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365, with a focus on governance, data protection, and reliability. Delivered tagging governance for AWS Auto Scaling Groups, strengthened ARNs handling and error visibility, expanded data protection features in Azure (blob versioning and file service retention/SMB), introduced private connectivity for Azure Key Vault, expanded governance tooling with a new Microsoft identity governance access reviews resource, and added Databricks workspace support and MS365 policy governance enhancements. These changes cumulatively improve cost allocation, data resilience, access control, and policy governance for enterprise workloads, while broadening multi-cloud management capabilities and reducing risk through improved validation, logging, and secure connectivity.
